Campus distribution feeder upgrade
Major reconfiguration of the medium voltage distribution feeding a working university campus. New 15 kV feeder run from the Morisset vault to the power house, switchable isolation, and a 13.2 kV switchgear installation, all inside the academic operating calendar. Completed over a weekend with a 16-hour transformer swap window.
Bank of transformers replaced with a dry-core transformer in a 16-hour window
New loop feeder from Morisset main vault to power house: 15 kV XLPE 500 MCM cable and required splices
In-campus switching for isolation of one half of medium voltage switchgear
Installed new 13.2 kV switchgear and connected existing wiring
Changeover completed over a weekend
